The quality of surface and ground waters in Flanders with regard to nitrate residues should improve drastically in short term. CVBB monitors the water quality, gives individual farmer advice and organizes local group discussions in order to improve the water quality and to reduce the measuring points exceeding the norm of 50 mg/l NO3-.
